Located in a ski-in/ski-out location in the exclusive Casablanche area of the town, and designed with every care and attention, the chalet is a very stylish and cosy home from home for a group of friends or family get together.
The double-height living room, decorated in a palette of neutral greys and steel has pops of ochre to bring the scheme to life and classic but contemporary furniture pieces that bring an understated elegance to the room. Collapse in the smart, capacious armchairs to enjoy the view over tea and cakes in the afternoons or gather round that fabulous floating fireplace with the rest of your party in the evening and catch up on all the adventures everyone has had during the day.
Adjacent, there’s a sophisticated dining area that seats 12 in comfy chairs you’ll be happy to linger in long into the evening, chatting over excellent food and fine wines under the twinkling lights. Indeed, the whole living space is completely transformed in the evening from a light and airy space to a cosy retreat, sparkling with candlelight.
On afternoons when you’re home from the slopes, hide away in the fabulous library to curl up with a book, retreat down to the sauna to warm yourself through or bubble away in the outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace. However you choose to relax you’ll find it easy here.
When night falls, you’ll be only too pleased to hunker down in the contemporary and cosy bedrooms, each with UK TV and stylish spa-style bathrooms that will make all your ablutions a pleasure. Falling into the comfy beds at the chalet, you’re guaranteed to have sweet dreams and wake ready for anything the next morning… which is just as well. You have the whole of the Three Valleys on your very doorstep – arguably the world’s best skiing area. Get your skis on fast and you could be first out on the powder.

Vic is a trained chef, and the three course dinners that he produced each night were exceptional. Each menu was carefully thought through and beautifully presented. We all found ourselves longing to eat each dish again, particularly the delicious beef on the last night, or the rhubarb parfait midweek. Vic adapted his menus to suit our dietary requirements: my mother cannot eat seafood but her replacement courses were just as appetising as the ones the rest of us ate.
This was the first holiday we have ever had where we did not have to take care of any of the arrangements for ourselves. Ski lessons, equipment hire, lockers and lift passes were all organised by Viktoria in advance, and turned up right on schedule. Their advice on the ski school we should pick was spot on, and took all the hassle out of what otherwise might have been a tricky decision.
The Chalet itself is lovely. It is tastefully decorated, well-organised and clean. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need, including baby and toddler equipment.
In summary, if you are looking for a holiday where you can forget all the worries of day-to-day existence and lose yourself in the pleasure of skiing and eating excellent food, you could not wish for a better place to stay, or kinder or more professional hosts.

December 29, 2019 at 6:43 pmStaying at Chalet Miluna makes for a top-notch ski vacation! Our group included four couples and one single, all in our early 70’s and mostly retired.
From arranging transportation from GVA airport, to renting skis and obtaining ski passes, to chauffeuring us to and from the mountain, to stocking up on our favorite libations, Viktoria is the best booking agent.
If you do not care about exquisitely prepared meals, go somewhere else.
