The property is a beautiful luxury chalet situated in a wonderful position in Morzine, benefiting from stunning views of the Pleney and is only a short walk from the Super Morzine bubble and the centre of town.
This beautifully presented chalet which has been cleverly designed over a number of floors, offering 10 guests a wonderful stay in 5 luxurious bedrooms.
As you enter the chalet you are greeted by a stunning vaulted wine cellar and cut glass chandelier, which highlight the detail and contemporary design of the chalet. On this floor you will also find four of the five luxury bedrooms, the sauna and the large cinema room with reclining ‘lazy boy’ leather arm chairs, projector screen and Kaleidescape surround sound entertainment system which is perfect for entertaining the children while you enjoy your exquisite gourmet meal.
The main floor comprises of a beautiful split-level lounge and dining area. The lounge with luxurious oversized sofas and soft furnishings is centred around a large open fire and enjoys stunning views across the valley. The dining area enjoys the same exceptional views and provides the perfect setting for indulgent dinner parties after that perfect day on the slopes. Heading outside you will find the expansive sun terrace with a sunken outdoor hot tub, which is ideal for enjoying a glass of Champagne before dinner whilst soothing those aching muscles and enjoying the glorious mountain views.
The top floor is occupied by the beautiful master bedroom with a rain shower big enough for two as well as a freestanding bath within the bedroom.

February 21, 2020 at 2:06 pmThe chalet is beautiful..the photos do not do it justice. We were 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. The heating was incredible..plenty of hot water, high quality furnishings and everything decorated beautifully. The bus stop is only a 1 min walk away but we chose to use our car. The little supermkt has everything you need. All in all a perfect place to stay.

January 4, 2020 at 7:28 pmOur whole extended family drove from the UK to spend Christmas together. We weren’t disappointed. The chalet was easy to locate. Had parking for our three cars. The heated boot racks and ample space in the boot room were a huge plus point. As were the washing machine and drier! All the bedrooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. The views from the bedrooms and sitting room were absolutely stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. We cooked for most of the week and had a ‘big’ Christmas dinner, everything we required was at hand. The location for the slopes is great. As we had heavy snow all week we used the bus instead of the cars. The bus stop is literally a two minute walk.
Helpful ReviewAs you can tell we would strongly recommend the chalet. Viktoria was prompt to answer all our queries. She has managers at hand in the village if you require local assistance. We did have a small issue which needed to be addressed. Matt came straight round and dealt with the issue swiftly. I highly recommend staying at Chalet Katia. We can’t wait to return.

April 2, 2019 at 12:59 pmWe have stayed in both summer and winter and shall keep coming back. The property is beautiful inside and out and very well appointed and maintained. The exceedingly efficient wood burning fire makes it warm and cosy throughout.
Helpful ReviewThe location of the stop for the free ski bus makes this such a good venue. Make sure you know the return times from the various resorts to avoid a wait when tired at the end of the day.
For able non skiers there are an increasing number of well signed and well groomed walking trails.
Would I recommend Chalet Katia and Morzine to a friend? You bet I would but only if I could come as well.

The heated boot room was much appreciated.
We enjoyed lovely weather and excellent ski conditions.
The family ski pass that allows adults to ski at children’s prices was great value.
The ski bus was very convenient, being regular and punctual.
I am a non skier and planned to have plenty of rest. Instead I made use of the well marked winter footpaths.

The chalet is so well situated for the ski bus which gives you easy access to the ski slopes and for non skiers also gives access up to centre Morzine. The chalet is so well appointed that we ate in most nights. If you want to eat out, make sure you book tables in advance. We will be back!
