All hail to the king of all ski chalets. The chalet is a temple of mountain luxury that simply takes your breath away. Extending over seven floors and offering a massive 3,200sqm of space, it successfully blends the line between a catered chalet and boutique hotel.
Even the location is to die for. Nestling among pine trees in exclusive Residence de Bellecôte, you are right next to the piste with ski-in/ski-out accesss and only a couple of minutes from the centre of Courchevel 1850. The chalet is built around a stunning spiral staircase and has separate accommodation and access for the numerous dedicated staff.
There will be too much to take in when you first arrive at your palatial luxury ski chalet. Just for starters, there’s an entire floor of spa facilities with a swimming pool, indoor Jacuzzi, gym, therapy room, Hammam and sauna, a private nightclub in the basement…Yes, that’s right – your own nightclub, complete with DJ booth, bar and dance floor.
At this level of luxury, details such as the private cinema room, two professional chefs and two butlers, and the ability to ski in and out begin to start sounding commonplace. We haven’t even mentioned the private ski instructor and the basement parking which is accessed by a car lift.
OK. Perhaps you should take a breather at this point, before the chalet totally overwhelms you. Just push open the door of the huge ski room, inhale the pine-scented mountain air, step into your skis and head off down the Bellecote piste. Could anything be more perfect?
Just like an exclusive, private hotel, the chalet has a large team to look after guests and provide an all-round pampering experience for everyone. You might have early birds and night owls, skiers and non-skiers, old and young – no demand is too much trouble. The staff area has its own separate entrance and the privacy of guests is key.
From the moment you wake up, everything is taken care of. Delicious breakfasts, bookings made for lunch in the mountains, a chauffeur-driven ride into town, private ski lessons and a massage at the end of the day. The chalet has it all.

April 2, 2019 at 12:48 amWe had a great time at Chalet Assia. Chalet is very comfortable and the chalet service and food top notch. Staff looked after us extremely well. Courchevel is a pleasant village with good access to the Trois Vallees.

February 9, 2019 at 5:39 pmI went to Courchevel with my camera to film snowy mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Chalet Assia, – everything had been thought of – it was luxurious and homely. The fantastic hosts not only did they cook wonderful food (yes – really really fantastic food), they helped with my unusual requests for how to get a pedestrian ski pass and a paragliding session with my camera. They were incredibly friendly and created a lovely atmosphere. The chalet is in a wonderful spot with fantastic views, I would highly recommend! A memorable trip
