Contemporary design meets classic comfort in this rather special luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1550. Offered on a self-catered basis, this luxury chalet offers the best of both worlds – an ideal location combined with the flexibility to follow your own schedule.
Located in the Stelvio hamlet of Courchevel Village, this property is perfectly located for both the centre of town and nearest ski lift, the Grangettes, with fast access the vast 3 Valleys ski area. But, close as it is to all the action, the chalet is also a wonderful place to escape to and hole up for a week, to make the most of all it has to offer.
On the upper floor is the open-plan living space, flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. At the other end is a huge, relaxing seating area with a central fireplace and capacious sofas where you can relax, sprawl with the papers or curl up with a book. The modern and stylish dining area offers the perfect space for you and your guests to happily linger all evening over a leisurely meal. A well equipped kitchen means that you can cater for yourself in comfort.
Wellbeing is top of the agenda here. After an energetic day on the slopes, you can relax and recharge in the sauna or book a relaxing massage to soothe away any aches and pains picked up on the slopes. Should you have leftover energy to expend, the indoor swimming pool or gym are perfect if you wish to maintain your fitness regime.
At the end of the evening, after a nightcap on the balcony, retire to uber-cosy bedrooms, designed with only your comfort in mind for a peaceful night’s sleep, ready to make the most of everything Courchevel has to offer in the morning.

February 28, 2020 at 2:34 amI had never skied in Courchevel nor the three valleys. My (unfounded, of course) concern was too many Brits, inc me, and stories of far too many cliches – bonkers crowded slops, Fulham on ice etc. How wrong I was.
Helpful ReviewAnd what a gem. Full on French, families that go back generations, devoid of heaving apres ski hell holes. Disarmingly lovely, couldn’t be easier to ski in and out of. No vile bus qs. Anything that avoids me having to carry my skis gets a massive tick in my book.
Suffice to say, the food is sublime and again unuually, very healthy. Hunt is a spectacularly good chef. Botanist gin pre dinner and mighty fine hand made sushi were just one example.
Go. In a nutshell. You will never, ever want to leave
