Located in La Villa/Stern, a charming mountain village surrounded by UNESCO Nature Parks, lies the chalet. Occupying a central position in Alta Badia, the chalet is a great base for enjoying extensive skiing and the many international events that occur in the region, including the men’s Alpine Ski World Cup which takes place on La Villa’s Gran Risa piste, one of the most technically demanding ski runs on the circuit. Set over three levels, the chalet is able to accommodate up to ten guests across five bedrooms.
Recently built, the chalet showcases a traditional alpine style, with the use of natural materials including high quality wood and stone. A staircase leads from the main entrance on the ground floor to a spacious living and dining area on the first floor with comfortable sofas, TV and fireplace.
There is also a well-equipped kitchen and access to a terrace from here with magnificent mountain views.
On the second floor is a penthouse with a double bedroom, bathroom and a smaller living area with a second kitchen.
The ground floor is home to three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The fifth bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, is located next to the living room. There is a private Finnish sauna and infrared cabin on the ground floor. The chalet also has access to a heated outdoor pool in summer and a Finnish sauna in the wood which can be booked for private use.

January 8, 2020 at 10:16 amChalet Aldia is ideal for families looking for a top-notch catered holiday. We were a party of 10 including 4 children ranging from 4 to 13 years old. The chalet is beautifully finished with fantastic, spacious communal areas. The pool, sauna, games room and xbox den were all hits, but what really made the holiday were the hosts. Incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable about skiing and the area, talented chefs, and really flexible in meeting our various needs and requests.
Thanks to everyone for ensuring we had an unforgettable experience!

December 29, 2019 at 9:08 pmI cannot rate this holiday enough!! We truly had an amazing time. The chalet was perfect. Donna and Oliver were great hosts. They really went out of their way to cater for all our needs. They provided us with delicious and considerate menus catering for all ages and dietary needs. They even treated us to local cheeses and wines that complimented each meal and so much thought and work went into the menu I was so impressed! The chalet was so comfortable and the children loved the pool and games room. As did the adults. Oliver was so helpful and supplied us with good info and tips for the slopes and endless lifts back and forth to the chalet, which we appreciated after hours on the slopes with young children. Coming back to freshly baked cakes and biscuits and endless tea and coffee was just what we needed!!! We will definitely be returning as the resort, the chalet and hosts were first class. Our children’s first skiing holiday and chalet experience was one they ll never forget!! They didn’t want to come home!!!! A big thank you so much chlets for a great holiday..

March 30, 2019 at 1:53 pmJust lovely and so relaxing as Donna and Oliver are totally committed to ensuring you enjoy every aspect of the stay with a service level way beyond your usual chalet hosts. Food is a highlight with their combined cooking talents. Oliver takes all the faff out of the logistics of skiing, taking you to and from the lifts every day. Both are super capable with children of all ages so particularly recommended for families. The chalet is very comfortable and clean. And the ski area perfect for all skill levels. Difficult to fault!
