The property is a wonderfully cosy chalet, tucked away in a quiet spot but just a few minutes chauffeured drive from the world class skiing of Chamonix.
The chalet has stunning views of the Aiguille du Midi from the wonderful living and dining areas and from the spacious terrace. Whilst this chalet may have just three bedrooms, don’t be fooled as the quality of the finish and the standard of the service is second to none.

The chalet is very professionally run from the time you start arranging your trip with Viktoria – she answered hundreds of questions and arranged all transfers, in house massages, hair appointments, ski equipement delivery to your door, ski passes and ski lockers at the ski lift.

(we have been in Saalbach twice, Courchevel and Lech).

Yvan and Helen are not only the perfect hosts, they are lovely people to be around… so hospitable, helpful and friendly, either inconspicuous in the background, or right there when you need them. Just the right balance. Chef’s culinary art – wow! His food is to die for… honestly, it has to be experienced to be believed! We had the best skiing trip we have ever had, and can’t wait to go back! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chalet Ahelis to others, in fact, we already have! A MUST stay.

January 18, 2020 at 10:46 amJust when we thought we had experiencd it all with regard to lodgings in a ski resort in the Alps, we found Chalet Ahelis by chlets! The chalet is the right size for 2 families or 3 couples and is comfortable and warm with plenty of very hot water. Any problems regarding ski and boot hire, lessons on the slopes or travel will be ironed out by the efficient Viktoria, while the charming Yvan not only drives you to the lifts and back every day, but also provides a 5 star dinner every night (superb) as well as home baked cakes and biscuits for tea and a delicious and varied breakfast. Our best all-round skiing experience so far…..why would we ever look further.

Viktoria’s organisational skills set us up for a great week, and Yvan’s food is exceptional, better than any restaurant we have been to, let alone any chalet we have stayed in before!!!
