Looking at this rustic renovated chalet from the outside, you’d never guess what treasures lie within. The property is a luxury ski chalet in Les Gets that perfectly mixes rustic charm and sumptuous contemporary style.
A vast 20-metre long socializing space incorporates a living area with sofas, armchairs, a roaring log fire and plush faux fur throws, a dining space with an intimate eating area and fluffy sheepskin throws on every chair, a cosy office ‘snug’ and even a swing chair – the perfect place to escape to with a book.
The property is only a two-minute drive in your chauffeured car from the nearest ski lift and Les Gets is linked to the whole Portes du Soleil ski area, so there are plenty of slopes to explore. In the afternoons, when you’ve returned from ski and re-fuelled on homemade cakes and bread, there’s plenty to keep everyone busy in the chalet. You may like to visit the private treatment room and indulge in a facial or massage, or retire to the TV snug, complete with TV, Blu-ray player and games consoles.
Unusual for a luxury ski chalet, this one has a heavy focus on outdoor spaces. Fill your lungs with mountain air, taking a dip in the outdoor hot tub, glass of bubbly in hand and your favourite music on the outdoor Sonos sound system, as the last of the day’s skiers descend the piste opposite. And late in the evening, head out to the heated terrace, where steamer chairs, strewn with sumptuous throws and a fabulous view await you.
When it’s time to turn in for the night, the ensuite bedrooms are a sight for sore eyes. The plumpest of pillows, comfiest of mattresses and warm woods and textured fabrics combine to make each room a cocoon in its own right. Luxury bathrooms with Italian showers, huge slipper baths and lots of thoughtful little details make your daily ablutions a pampering experience.

Good equal size bedrooms, open plan kitchen living space, parking and outdoor hot tub in a private garden. Very friendly and extremely responsive host. Our 5th stay now at Chalet Alba, we’ll definitely be back.

Helpful ReviewThe Chalet comes with everything we needed. Nice hot showers. The hot tub was an especially welcome addition to the holiday, especially after a day on the slopes.
The agency were always very helpful and quick with responses and made the booking process a smooth and easy process.
We are all looking to return for another season.
