January 22, 2020 at 1:29 pmWhen you go away on holiday it’s nice to be looked after…and then there are those occasions when your hosts go that extra mile to make it special; chlets are those kind of hosts. In 10 years of ski-ing all over Europe and Canada, I have never stayed at the same place twice……until now. Last year when we stayed at Chalet Alleke it was Jay and Helga’s first year there, but, you would never have guessed it. This year we went back for a spontaneous ski and it was like going back to meet old friends! Jay is a very good cook and knows how to cater for vegetarians; he doesn’t just take out the meat and give you the rest – you actually get a proper meal! Viktoria is very handy when things start falling apart. When the inner of our goggles disintegrated after a particularly hard “day at the office”, Viktoria produced the glue for a “running repair” to get us going again! We had a FAB time

March 12, 2019 at 12:55 amMy boyfriend and I stayed at Chalet Alleke for a week with some other friends and couldn’t rate it higher. Jay and Viktoria were always happy to help and the food was outstanding – with all dietary requests catered for. The chalet itself is perfect with everything you could wish for after a day on the snow. The fireplace is the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
