The chalet sits on the plateau, right in the centre of Avoriaz. At a dizzying altitude of 1850 metres, and right next to the piste, lifts, ski schools, mountain restaurants and village centre, independent chalets in this spot are rarer than January marmottes. Ski-in ski-out locations don’t get better than this anywhere in the world; we have to transfer you and your bags across the pistes by snowcat!
Reborn from the site of an old 16th century barn, our independent the chalet has a fabulous vaulted living area with flat screen and fireplace, balcony with spectacular mountain and piste side views and ubiquitous sauna. At this altitude and location the bedrooms are undeniably compact, but well equipped nonetheless; with plenty of storage, wall mounted flat screen TVs and smart contemporary bathrooms.
When your instructor can knock on the door without removing his skis and you can stroll across the empty piste for a beer as the sun goes down at the end of the day, you will appreciate why we are so excited about this incredible asset. A completely unique ski holiday experience.
Spread across three floors, the property sleeps 12 – 14 guests in 6 rooms. The rooms are on the Lower Ground and Ground floors with 5 Twins and 1 Double to choose from. The Double room also has bunk beds which are charged at half the adult price.

March 1, 2020 at 11:51 amWe stayed 3 familes (6 adults and 6 kids). This is our third stay at Chalet Brume and it´s very likely that we return. Service, food, location is excellent. Nothing to complain about. A five star experience. Snow conditions and weather have been good all of our 3 visits to Chalet Brume.

January 24, 2020 at 1:42 pmI have never written a review before but i thought this time it was worth it because we had such an enjoyable time. The staff were really helpful and flexible in helping us. Their cooking was excellent so we needed to get out on the slopes to work it off. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The living room was sensational. Good bootroom for drying. I would definitely recommend it

January 22, 2020 at 5:19 pmHome from home…..well I say that knowing I could never in a million years attempt half of what our lovely chef served up for dinner!! Truly amazing dining. On top of that the hosts were supremely helpful and hospitable and the chalet very well catered for a day on-or-off the slopes. We really enjoyed our stay and will no doubt be back next year. We also liked being in Avoriaz as a slightly less hectic resort than others in France, but with the piste just as accessible (ski in/ski out).

February 18, 2019 at 1:39 pmWhat more could one ask for after a day on the slopes? Comfort, warmth, entertainment, quiet and Sienna’s gorgeous food (you should see the size of the banana and walnut cake!) – gave us a great holiday with friends.
