Situated in a unique position on the plateau d’Arbois (literally meaning ‘plateau of trees’) with stunning mountain views, the chalet has been expertly refurbished to the highest standards. Offered across two floors, along with a mezzanine, the authenticity of its farmhouse background has been effortlessly combined with a loft-style renovation.
With large windows on every side, there’s a huge double height Great Room with a majestic roaring fire and four guest bedrooms and further mezzanine area, all overlooking a pretty garden. The piece de resistance is a magnificent Bulthaup kitchen – an excellent backdrop to the dinners you will take in the open-plan dining area. A uniquely carved staircase leads up to the mezzanine, with a large television, along with plenty of DVDs and a trendy Bang & Olufsen sound system.
When weary from your day, relax in full-service luxury back at the chalet. With a beautiful interior design of muted colours and cosy fabrics, the chalet welcomes up to eight guests, with daily maid service and luxury bath and beauty products. There’s a private chef available if you require and a full team of staff on hand for every eventuality – masseuse, ski instructor, hairdresser, you name it. You can plan an itinerary to suit everyone in your group for a getaway to remember.

Helpful ReviewChalet Byron surpassed expectations, it is very well appointed with everything one could wish for and more than large enough to easily accommodate two families. Coming back after a hard day on the slopes we were greeted by a warm and cosy atmosphere.
The ski shops were very easy to access and the equipment was of a high standard.
Overall, we could not ask for a better experience and we will definitely be back. The only downside is that we had to leave.

December 31, 2019 at 2:06 pmWe had such a great time at Chalet Byron, it is the perfect chalet retreat for a group. Viktoria was really helpful from the moment we made the booking and even allowed early check in to fit in with our early flight arrival time (really appreciated!). We stopped at the supermarket on the way and then had everything we needed for a week’s skiing.
The Chalet was really well equipped and we used the kitchen constantly. Having linen and cleaning included in the price made such a difference and everything was sparkling clean and great quality. The kitchen was really well appointed and we made good use of it over the week. The log burning stove made the lounge cosy whilst watching a spot of UK TV – great relaxer after a day on the slopes.
Thank you chlets for letting us stay in your lovely chalet. We have already recommended it to others as a great base for a holiday.

March 21, 2019 at 12:32 pmWe stayed here as a family of five with three teens, and the house is spacious enough that each teen had his or her own bedroom. The house was a very comfortable place to hang out, with a cozy living room area, a kitchen / dining area with enough seating to accomodate our group and a lovely fireplace.
