Mountain views that’ll take your breath away, contemporary-cool interiors in sparkling white, an open fire flickering in the background… The chalet is a modern winter wonderland.
For those that favour a stylish, contemporary look and ultra-modern fittings over a traditional Alpine style, this is ideal. The ski-in luxury chalet in Courchevel Village (also known as 1550) has style in spades and offers affordable luxe in a stunning location.
When you’re not out on the slopes, which are conveniently just moments away, you’ll be able to enjoy a relaxing Hammam or a dip in the indoor Jacuzzi down in the private wellness suite. The chalet has its own cinema room too, so after a morning on the snow, you can get in the beers and popcorn and have a cosy movie matinee.
The bedrooms are all individually designed using quirky pieces of furniture and wall art to give each a style of its own. Warm throws, soft cushions and gorgeous complimentary bath products mean you’ll be happy to relax in your own company for a while here, catching up on your reading or just stealing forty winks in the afternoon before hitting the town for the night.
If you’re staying in for the evening however, you could do a lot worse. Wander out onto the terrace with your drink to take in the bracing air or just stand and stare at the mountains. Inside, with a magnificent open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room as well as a central fireplace as the focal point of the space, it’s perfect for entertaining.

January 29, 2020 at 1:54 pmAs a tentative skier who was yet to be convinced, skiing at Giso has transformed my point of view.
Helpful ReviewGiso the most wonderfully beautiful and comfortable Chalet complete with many intelligent and stylis flourishes that ensure we felt replete when not skiing.
The team run by best manager at Giso could not have been more accomodating while chef delivered the most delicous fayre without fail.
The chalet could not be better postioned being for quick access to the slopes and ski hire – marvellous!
As for the skiing, the instructors recommend through Viktoria were inspirational and all in our group enjoyed skiing at all levels from beginner to advanced.
I would jump at the chance to return to Giso and would recommend this chalet to skiers of all levels.

March 25, 2019 at 10:23 pmThe skiing was superb with great guides from the valleys. We went everywhere and managed to slip away from the crowds into delightful couloirs and large fields of fresh snow.
Helpful ReviewBut the joy was coming back to the chalet. Charming staff beaming you in with warm smiles, tempting teas and the delicious clink of ice on glass as the cocktails beckoned. The food was absolutely out of this world. It could have been any Michelin starred restaurant in Europe.
We were there for 4 days. Absolute heaven. We will definitely try and return.
