Holy Snowballs – this is the way to ski in style. The newly-built chalet is a hip and funky freestanding abode, overflowing with luxuries galore. And, it’s in the only part of Zermatt that is ski-in ski out: Winkelmatten (also known as Zermatt’s Beverly Hills).
If you want to make the most of your precious time off, and you adore the gold plated Swiss charms of Zermatt, the chalet is an ideal base to revel in first class service. Helpful Review 1A lot of Space in the chalet for everybody, a nice Tv room for the kids with a lot of games and a computer. We also enjoyed the sauna! Nothing to add except that we had a nice vacation !

December 30, 2020 at 10:39 pmIt was the best second vacation after the honey moon (2008). We were 9 people in vacation for skiing and we stay only a week unfortunately. The chalet is great, full with light, worm and everything was ok. Is near the station to go up and have some great fun skiing. The communication with the chlets was very good, Viktoria give us a lot useful information’s. We will come back for sure.

Equipment (kitchen, bathrooms) is impeccable and the overall design offers many enjoyable features: a huge living with a warm and elegant modern chimney, splendid views through big panel windows, a cosy room to read / work / have children playing quietly, a dedicated room for skis and shoes, and even a sauna, pool and spa!!
Bedrooms are well designed and beds & quilts are dreadfully comfortable !
This place is ideal for a couple of families where some members want to ski intensively in Zermatt, whilst others prefer to take more time at the chalet during the day, enjoying a smooth life in a beautiful place.

March 21, 2019 at 4:53 pmWe stayed at Chalet Katelyn with two sets of extended family and it provided the perfect place for skiing in Zermatt, as well as having enough space for everyone to relax together in the evenings.
There is everything you need for a great week stay, and the separate areas of the Chalet mean that the younger members of the group can go and watch movies in the evening, while the adults relax with a well deserved glass of something nice
