High altitude, stand alone properties like this are hard to come by in the Portes du Soleil, and this is a fantastic example. This chalet is perfectly located, right next to the slopes and a short lift ride away to the centre of the resort.
The chalet sleeps eight to ten guests across four bedrooms, over four floors, each with their own en suite, individual character and simply stunning views over Avoriaz.
The living area is designed to be social, with huge sofas for lazing on, a good size dining table and balconies.
Come the end of your ski day, your afternoon tea will have already been laid out, and your host will prepare a lovely three course meal, serving some hand-picked house wines and ensuring that nothing is too much throughout your stay.

January 15, 2020 at 12:57 pmI have just returned from a short break in Chalet Liane and had an aboslutley fantastic break. The Chalet itself is beatuful, stylish but homely. Very comfortable and well equipped, lovely to come in after skiing and have the gorgeous homeade cake and drinks and relax in the lounge before another superb dinner.
Helpful ReviewThe host and hostess were superb, very friendly and helpful and food was excellent. The house wines were very enjoyable and we also tried a few of the other wines avaialble which were also lovely and well worth a try.
In conclusion, I would have no hesitation in returning to this little gem.

January 2, 2020 at 9:06 amChalet Liane was great for our pre Christmas getaway. Early in the ski season, with an amazing first fall of snow the Chalet was warm an cosy with every luxury needed for a relaxing time in the Mountains. Our hosts prepared a delicious array of food-Mmmm, two tone soup, and were very helpful arranging our ski hire and lessons. We were lucky enough to be there when the Christmas tree went up, which was the perfect festive compliment, along with massive icicles hanging from the balcony-amazing!

February 22, 2019 at 6:34 pm7 days was simply not enough. The meals, including delectable continental and full English breakfasts, scrumptious afternoon teas and delicious and diverse evening meals, were all so moreish. I am a big foodie and can be quite critical but I have no complaints, only compliments for the chef, who was also the hostess! The host and hostess were very welcoming, professional and friendly. The chalet itself was beautiful. The décor and interior architecture were stylish yet homely. We must of course not forget the snow! Oh the snow!! The mountains and landscape are breath taking. The settings for the chalet are almost fairytale. On a clear day, from the extensive balcony, you can see the snow covered mountains for miles. All in all, for a magical, heart warming, belly pleasing, activity and pamper filled get away, Chalet Liane would be the perfect base. I can’t wait to go back.
