Located in the traditional village of Tignes les Brevieres, just a short walk from the ski lifts and village restaurants, the chalet can accommodate up to eight adults and seven children in 430m² of living space. The exterior of the property is traditional, but inside it’s a different story with 70’s inspired furnishings in eye-popping colours, Route 66 memorabilia and a number of quirky features and grown up toys to keep adults and children alike entertained.
The open plan living area has a Wurlitzer style jukebox loaded with 100 albums and an electric guitar with an original Marshall amp for the musically minded. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto the balcony with outdoor hot-tub and wonderful mountain views, whilst inside the centre piece of the space is a pool table cleverly crafted from the shell of a Mini. With comfortable L-shaped lounge seating, a dining table set with 12 inch vinyl place mats and a super cool retro bar creating a natural divide between the lounge/dining area and professional kitchen, this is the perfect place to kick back and have fun after a day in the mountains.
Four of the bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and its own distinct visual and musical theme, are located on the second floor. The bathrooms are colour coded with freestanding baths and separate showers. Three rooms have double/twin beds and one is a fixed double. There is also a small mezzanine sleeping platform for one person in one of the double/twin rooms.
Children will love the open space garage room on the top floor which has two VW Camper vans and a Jeep that have been converted into double beds and a drum kit.
On the ground floor is a large heated pool with wave machine, hammam, sauna and hydro-jet massage bed.
For those with excess energy to burn, there is a gym with cross-trainer, rowing machine and kettle weights.
The lounge and all bedrooms have flat-screen TV’s with local channels and DVD players and the garage room has Nintendo Wii. There is WiFi internet access throughout.
The chalet has a ski room with heated boot warmers and laundry facilities.

February 9, 2020 at 8:47 amAn excellent return visit to this warm, welcoming and comfortable chalet. It is an excellent base for a skiing holiday, well equipped and relaxing after a busy day on the slopes. This time, as well as enjoying the great Tignes ski area, we spent a lot of our time in this luxurious house, we wanted to take advantage og the spa, sauna, private pool and hot tub, We loved it !!

March 10, 2019 at 9:56 pmWe’ve just returned from a fabulous skiing holiday, a key ingredient of which was our wonderful accommodation. Chalet Lucy is finished to a very high standard and we all much appreciated the little touches. The large dining table made eating fun and the sofa area was relaxed. The kitchen had everything we needed. This is a very social property as it’s roomy and thoughtfully laid out and equipped – as three families we could have been falling over each other in a lesser chalet, but this was not the case in Chalet Evan. I would not hesitate to recommend the chalet to others
