Calming and contemporary, this brand new luxury ski chalet in St. Anton is the perfect home-from-home for a group of ski bunnies.
The chalet has been designed with clean lines and a palette of neutral shades to make you feel instantly relaxed – you feel the ‘aaaah’ factor the moment you walk in the door.
A large and airy open plan living and dining space on the top floor is flooded with light through the floor-to-ceiling windows. In the mornings, wander out onto the south-facing balcony or take your first coffee of the day onto the large terrace, which the sun always hits around breakfast time. In the evenings, the living space is transformed into a cosy retreat, with a roaring fire at its heart to gather around with friends.
The chalet is ideally located just a few moments from the main piste, with ski-out access and you can ski back to within 150 metres of the front door. Lifts are just moments away and keen skiers will make the most of the red runs and off-piste skiing nearby.
When you’re not out on the slopes, though, this is a luxury ski holiday that allows you to truly relax. Two hot baths perched out on the terrace are a wonderful place to soothe aching limbs, and there’s also a sauna to warm you through to your very bones. Or simply retreat to one of the chic, modern bedrooms to hide under the warmest of duvets, peek out at the mountain views and plan tomorrow’s adventures.

The chalet is a cozy mix of traditional with all the modern conveniences (hot tub & sauna were a great way to relax after a day on the slopes!) and has plenty of space to chill out.
Mick and Dana are fantastic hosts and went out of their way to make our stay special. From dropping us off and picking us up whenever our legs had had enough to organising a mid-week restaurant and in-chalet massages.
I thoroughly recommend Chalet Melina and would be back next week if it wasn’t for work!

December 30, 2019 at 11:42 pmWe had a fantastic week at Chalet Melina with our wonderful hosts. From the friendly welcome, bubbly and canapés we knew we were in for a great week! The chalet is even lovelier than the photos suggest.. very warm and cosy, always loads of hot water and the roaring fire and cost chairs make the living area a great chillout area… not to mention the hot tub ! The food and wine were delicious, especially the daily afternoon tea treats. chlets ensure this is an extra special ski holiday, with nothing being too much trouble – dropping/picking us up in the Land Rover, booking massages and restaurants, recommending on piste food stops, the best pistes and skiing tips. Their hospitality was second to none and I would highly recommend Chalet Melina for an unforgettable ski trip.
