The chalet is a beautiful, new property where natural, contemporary style is given a twist of ‘hunting-lodge chic’! Miniature stag heads and cow hides adorn the walls and there are piles of faux fur throws and cushions for you to make yourself comfy with.
The double-height living area is a fantastic space to spend quality time with your friends or family over a few drinks by the fire. Simply stunning views through the large windows provide the perfect backdrop for a social gathering.
Children will be happily (and, more to the point, quietly) entertained in the TV snug and playroom, which is kitted out with DVDs, games and books for them. For under-twos, another box of toys is available.
At night, you’ll sleep like a baby in the luxury bedrooms, which all have pocket-sprung mattresses and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Two of the bedrooms have access to a balcony or terrace and all enjoy views of the mountains.
On the ground floor terrace is an outdoor spa with relaxation area and a hot tub where you can feel your worries float away as you relax and take in the mountain views.
This exclusive property feels like a real ‘get away from it all’ retreat, yet you are only a few chauffeur-driven minutes from the centre and the ski lifts, making it a really idyllic location.

March 30, 2019 at 5:31 pmWe stayed here for 7 nights in the middle of March and picked the best week for the snow and weather! The quality of the chalet, the food and the hosts were outstanding and made the holiday.
Chalet Ruest is impeccable inside and out, with a cosy living area, log burning fire and a lovely dining area for you all to sit and eat together. The bedrooms were comfy, nice bathrooms. All rooms were cleaned everyday and it was always lovely and warm. There is also free WIFI in the chalet which was useful.
Now this brings me on to the food, WOW!!! The host has worked at some of the best restaurants in London and his food if just amazing! Every evening was a different, mouth-watering menu from duck, lamb, steak… a different starter, main & dessert every evening. Wine was included at meal times, hot and cold breakfast and beautiful home cooked cakes for afternoon tea, you really don’t need anything else after staying here and I’m sure even with the skiing I still went home a few pounds heavier 🙂
