Snuggled up under the rafters of this plush penthouse, your eye is drawn outside to the twinkling lights of Zermatt and the outline of the Matterhorn against a brooding night sky. The floor to ceiling windows of the penthouse chalet create the sensation of being on top of the world, in this Swiss winter wonderland.
The Penthouse has plenty of space over two floors for eight guests and is one of four beautifully furnished apartments in the newly-built. It has the kind of chic, deluxe style that graces the pages of interiors magazines. Warm wood, natural stone and soft woolen tweeds abound, and the space is filled with light. Sleek contemporary kitchen and bathroom fittings give it that chic, boutique finish.
Five star service is all part of the experience at the penthouse chalet. Your host serves you a refreshing glass of Champagne and sorts out all the details of your stay. Your lift passes, ski lessons and activities can all be arranged whilst you relax on the sofa, or take a soothing hot bath in the beautiful freestanding tub. And the housekeeper visits every day, so you always come home to a perfect pad.
In the kitchen, the chef is busy preparing a delicious meal, spoiling you with gourmet treats from breakfast through to afternoon tea and the evening meal. Kick back in front of the striking 360 degree fireplace, or step out onto the balcony to appreciate the magical setting of the penthouse, set within Zermatt’s exclusive Winkelmatten district.
Apart from the deluxe credentials already mentioned, there is an added feature which makes it really special. The penthouse has its own gorgeous wellness area, where you can sooth away aches and pains in the Bio Sauna and Jacuzzi-style relaxation bath. Your host can also arrange for beauty therapists and masseurs to visit.
And the icing on the cake is the fact that you can ski in and out. Just glide up to the door and zoom up to the cosy nest of the penthouse.

The sauna is also an extra, very enjoyable bonus.
A great penthouse for families and groups alike.

February 3, 2020 at 7:27 pmWe never stayed in such a lovely penthouse! (we do have seen a few…) Newly built with a lot of taste and luxery, with the warmth and cosiness of an alpin house.
Helpful ReviewIn the living room there is a lot of space and light and there’s a fantastic fireplace that dominates the room
On the sunny days, whilst heaving breakfast, the sun came in through the large windows, enhancing the beautifull views from the chalet, and made for a great start of the day
The penthouse is upto date with the latest equipment, has comfortable and cosy bedrooms and associated bathrooms. There is plenty of room for a large family, or 2 smaller ones.
